Anniversary Gift

As anAnniversary Gift to Thad, I put together a gallery wall in our office.  This wall previously contained an old Edward Hopper print I've had since college, and was in desparate need of an update.  I'll post the "after" pics soon!

Bathroom: After

Did I say tomorrow? I meant next week. :-)

Bathroom renovation is complete and I'm so pleased with the outcome!  We added a 2nd sink, which I think will make a huge difference when it comes to selling this house (NOT in the near future).  The Carrera marble countertop is my favorite aspect of the design.  Dark wood cabinets give us a ton more storage, and the bathtub is nice and deep and beckons me to take a bath.  Also, I'm so glad we went with the Candice Olson wallpaper instead of paint.  Gives it an unexpected touch.  Loving all of it!

Resolutions

I always make New Year's resolutions.  I'm a goal-oriented person, and love a personal challenge.  2011 Resolutions are:

• Read at least a book a month, with at least 4 of the 12 being non-fiction - almost finished with George Bush's "Decision Points" - loving it.
• Attend Church at least once a month - already been 3 times in January!
• Consciously spend more time WITHOUT technology - I fear we are allowing it too big a place in our lives
• Pray often & seek His counsel

7 months!

The Bird turned 7 months, and he is all over the place!  Trying so hard to crawl!  Hasn't quite figured it out yet, but that's a-okay by  me.  Other stats include:

• 20 lbs 8oz  Solid food is really putting some weight on this child
• First 2 teeth are popping through on the bottom! - Makes for some fussy days & crying nights :(
• Smiling & laughing on demand
• Still sleeping all night, wearing size 3 diapers, and loves the bath
• Loving all kinds of foods...squash, sweet potatoes, apples, bananas, peaches, pears, green beans, peas, etc, etc, etc
• Still breastfeeding 4 times a day, eating solids twice a day
• Wearing size 12mo clothes
• Happy, Chill boy!
